Today is the start of the fabulous Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day.. and I decided to join in the fun by giving away a scrap pack of Heather Ross goodness.
If you are new to my blog…welcome… feel free to have a look around. If you are a regular you are probably aware I am an avid fan of scrap quilting, paper piecing and colour and my Heather Ross fabrics are always added as a special touch to a quilt. This scrap pack has cuts from some of my 10 of favorite yellow Heather Ross pretties, with most of the pieces being around 9 x 11 inches.

I have two young girls, so I have to admit that I do lots of sewing and even a little quilting with all shades of pink!

Right now, my favourite colour to quilt with is a soft white.

I’ve been quilting with a lot of navy lately.
I also like to quilt using mostly blue fabrics, any and all sorts of blue, large or small pieces. I am going to start quilting the Blue Ridge Beauty by Bonnie Hunter from Quitville. I like quilting with white! It’s not rock science, but I like to see the colors pop. I’ve started using gray more which I’m beginning to make my new white! Thanks!
For fabrics I love rainbow colors. For machine quilting, I usually stick with a medium gray.
