Today is the start of the fabulous Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day.. and I decided to join in the fun by giving away a scrap pack of Heather Ross goodness.
If you are new to my blog…welcome… feel free to have a look around. If you are a regular you are probably aware I am an avid fan of scrap quilting, paper piecing and colour and my Heather Ross fabrics are always added as a special touch to a quilt. This scrap pack has cuts from some of my 10 of favorite yellow Heather Ross pretties, with most of the pieces being around 9 x 11 inches.

Hi! My favourite colors to do a quilt are Aqua and red, or purple and grey, but now the sun brights a lot in Valencia, my city in Spain, and I’m thinking about doing once in yelmos and orange. I follow you by gmail. Thanks for the inspiration.

Mendocino is one of my favourite fabric lines, and I love Heather Ross’s whimsical illustrations. This is such a beautiful giveaway. I have only made one quilt in my life, but I enjoyed the process. I find that I am drawn to pink, pale blue and red as a combo in general but any vibrant colours always catch my eye. Thanks for the chance to win.
I found it hard to decide what my favourite was. A quick check of the cupboard seems to indicate pink, blue, green and aqua were all in good supply. But there’s a strange shortage of yellow….

My favorite is and always will be turquoise. Add in some charcoal grey, white & a nice mustardy yellow… perfect!

Oooh Heather Ross goodness is right!! I love to sew with grey and a bright. Right now I’m using grey with orange. I’m an Aussie expat living in Canada! I don’t know about you, but there’s no place like home for me 🙂

Generally speaking my favourite colour is purple but when it comes to quilting I find I can’t realky pick a fabourite colour.
