Today is the start of the fabulous Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day.. and I decided to join in the fun by giving away a scrap pack of Heather Ross goodness.
If you are new to my blog…welcome… feel free to have a look around. If you are a regular you are probably aware I am an avid fan of scrap quilting, paper piecing and colour and my Heather Ross fabrics are always added as a special touch to a quilt. This scrap pack has cuts from some of my 10 of favorite yellow Heather Ross pretties, with most of the pieces being around 9 x 11 inches.

I love autumnal colours, so warm and inviting me to snuggle under the quilt at the end.
My favorite colors are greens and blues, but I quilt (and paper piece) with whatever I have that best matches the instructions I’m using because I’m bad with picking colors that go together. I would be so excited if I won fabric from your stash though! Thanks for the opportunity to win!

Oh, it’s too hard to pick just one color! I think right now I’m in an orange mode. I haven’t used orange much at all in quilting, but I’m working on one now and have just really loved the result. Of course, my quilt assistant just happens to be orange as well (grin)!

I think I end up using blues in my quilts most often. It’s not necessarily my favorite color, but it often seems to work well with what I’m doing somehow! These yellows are gorgeous. Thanks for the chance to win!

My “go-to” colour when quilting is green. Strange because I don’t wear much green or have green walls etc.
I often stray towards greens and blues but orange is probably my favorite 🙂 great scrap pack ty for the chance to win!

Lately I’ve been drawn to fabrics with a pop of yellow. It’s like the sun after a long winter.
I like to use different colors. Right now I have a crush on orange/navy/green. I do tend to use a lot of blue. Thank you for sharing!

I love sewing with blue!!! It’s my favorite color so I tend to be pulled to it when I selecting colors for a project. I haven’t been sewing very long so I don’t feel like my stash or scraps are numerous but I’m adding to it daily!!!
