This week’s Hodge Podge blocks start with the classic Broken Dishes….
This is simple little 6 inch block comes together really quickly, with just four block pieces….
There are a couple of different versions of this block you can do… with quite a few of the traditional blocks using this colouring version.
So if you want to add this to your collection you can find the free paper piecing pattern here…broken dishes pattern… and there will be more patterns coming this week.
It’s a lovely block; I might print the pattern out at 200% and make one of my 12″ October F2F blocks using it. The little fussy cut matryoshka doll is so cute!
It`s a gorgeous block and love your fabric combo.
I love this and all your paper piecing! It has completely inspired me and I plan to use this pattern to make a bed quilt for myself. It will be my first project for me, and not done as a gift. I made two sample blocks last night and just love them! Thank you for posting so many patterns and gorgeous blocks. I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks so much for the pp pattern. Glad to hear that there has been a diagnosis for what has been bothering you and hope that the meds do the trick and you are starting to feel better.
