Okay I am getting a little obsessive over these blocks…I am just loving how they are turning out and can not wait to start playing with them on my design wall. This week I add another fun one to the collection.
This is another pattern from Quilting on the Squares free Bonus Star collection. The pattern is called Diamond in the Rough and comes in at a measly 48 pieces.
I am hoping with next weeks block to have enough stars done to start playing with layout.
WOMBAT QUILTS 
How many is that now? I am shamed into heading back into my workroom and grabbing my hand sewing… I am so loving the colour combination for this quilt, especially the dark inky blues.
I must admit it is the colour combo that has me hooked. I have done 4 blocks so far… I am now looking for some smaller 8 inch stars to throw in and maybe some 6 inchers as well. I really want some variation.
And maybe some areas of inky blue night sky?
Worth every piece ……….it is fabulous!! You have such an amazing way with colour!!
