This week I went totally girly with my colour play. I love pink and love using pink…

Example Two…
Example Three…
Example Four…
I could go on but I think you get the picture… so this weeks challenge was to try a new pink combination, one that I was a little different from my norm. The end result was this totally girly fabric pull…
Which when combined with a simple spiderweb pattern from Quilters Cache became this 12 inch block…
Which, when joined with other spiderweb blocks begins to look like this…
Totally deliciously pretty I think, but I am a little biased!
What fabulous colour combinations. The pink and purple spider web is great. But ai love them all!
Pink is a no fail colour in my books… I may be a little girly biased when it comes to colour!
Gorgeous! It’s funny I wouldn’t say I’m particularly girly, but I love a bit of pink 🙂 Excited to see the finished city sampler quilt!
Tula is basted and ready for quilting… I just can not decide how I want to quilt it!
Love your quilts! And I really love pink too.
A kindred pink lover…welcome.
totally digging this color scheme and this block. I’m going to challenge myself to do a two color quilt with this block. I LOVE it!
Ashley it is such a simple patter but really fun. I am a little addicted to two colour quilts at the moment. I may need an intervention!
Oh you are totally right, it is pretty!!
Oh I love the Tula blocks! The others are great too, but those Tula blocks….. swoon!
you work is fabulous as always 🙂
I need to stop procrastinating and just finish the Tula. Soon, I just have a top or two to finish up….
You might be biased, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t right. YUM! I love love love!
Good point Audrey. Good point.
Step AWAY from the pink! Just how big is your pink stash anyway! That said, they’re gorgeous (if girly) and your colour combining is fabulous as usual. The spider’s web is really working, and, oh look, there’s one of Cath’s stars in the middle…
Never never never will I step away from the pink. Never. I may on occasion deviate from them but it is usually fleeting. As for stars…I may have a problem.
The spider web blocks look amazing together, I love the effect when they’re put together.
Those are beautiful. I love Pink!
I don’t think I have seen a simple spiderweb (not strippy or scrappy) before, and I like it! I also love pink. It is the colour I usually have the most of in my stash.
Pink is the colour I constantly have to replenish in my stash…that and grey.
Your so clever wish I could do as many quilts as you.
Love all the quilts! Purple is my favorite color, so that’s my favorite! 🙂
Love all of those! Go girly if all that gorgeousness is what comes out of it.
The spiderweb blocks are beautiful to see!! You keep workin’ that pink friend!! lol
I love all the pinks however it’s not a colour I use very often in quilt making. Perhaps it’s time to remedy that! Thanks for sharing.
It is all truly amazing!! I’m a big Wombat FAN and you never cease to amaze me. Thank you
Definitely totally delicious!
Amazing! I love all your colours, but that first one is a winner.
These are ALL delicious!
I have your same problem with pink—I just got done making another pink quilt and vowed I would not make another one for a while! We’ll see how that goes! haha! Loving those blocks–and the secondary patterns they create–and I happen to love pink and purple together as well–so this is right up my alley! 🙂
Would love for you to stop by tomorrow and link this up to Fabric Frenzy Friday!
