Paper piecing Monday is back this week, after a flu induced hiatus, with another house block…
This 10 x 10 inch paper pieced block was a not as complex as my last block… I am getting better at this house designing thing. I simplified some of it to make sure that I was not dealing with too many little bits.
The roof construction was the only fiddly bit for me. You can find the paper piecing pattern here….WQ house Block 2.
More houses next week… and I also include a wip with the blocks done so far.
Cute! I love the bush too!
Thanks. I think every house should have some shrubbery.
the FMF is genius as the bush! adorable, as always, cath!
I like the house very much! Very cute.
Thanks Lynne.
I’m loving the colours! Genius!
Genius may be going to far Ms Kate…. but I will take it…LOL.
I want to live in this pink house with its feathers and scissors!
I want to live in a pink house too but my husband keeps saying no.
Very cute house!! Fun colors.
I want that to be my actual house, especially the teal door!
Saw your comment and realised that I may be able to convince my husband to let me paint the door teal… he said NO to a pink house.
This is such a cute house and love the pinks!
Your patterns are always so cheerful. Thank you for sharing.
This looks really artful, especially the overlap of the roofs. … suppose I can’t resist…
As always I like your choose of colours. Thank you for sharing.
