As July comes to an end so does my red, white and blue pinwheel blocks….
I mixed the colouring up this week and I love the red background…I hope it works with the other blocks being made for the Quilting Bee…
There is another fun way to make this block, which gives you a very different looking block…still with a lot of movement in it.
If you would like to use the free pattern just download the PDF by clicking the link…Fireworks Pinwheel Block.

Another good block.
Ooh, I think I’ll be using this for next month’s F2F block – she wants any combination of red, white and blue, and you’ve even kindly made the block the right size!
Love this one, Cath! I especially love how crisp the white looks with those perfectly paper-pieced seams! This quilt is going to be so special with all of your unique spinner blocks!
I’m definitely in love. Could you tell me how you create your patterns and get them into pdf form?
when this is sewn into a quilt is it finished at 12 or is it 12″ before you sew it together?
